Introduction: Essential Details, LLC is an event management and event consulting firm specializing in corporate meeting services, event planning, convention management services, live event production, lighting design, band management, tradeshows, wedding coordination, and performing arts theatre management. With a combined 26 years of experience, our company has provided on-site management for events with guest lists including Former President George W. And our clients love the job that we do: Lyn and I had a marvelous experience in the days leading up to, and including, the day of a festival performance where I had hired Daryl Stuermer-Genesis Rewired. I have known Daryl for some time and this was my first opportunity to work with Lyn on this festival date. Let me say that she presents herself as the ideal kind of person a talent buyer/producer hopes will show up. Attentive, proactive, efficient, a great ambassador for her charge, and a wonderfully wicked sense of humor. Because she has a background in production, she was digging right in and helping her LD with the set up lighting fixtures, stringing cable, etc This on top of all the other myriad duties a Tour Manager must perform. And all handled with aplomb and in a very direct, matter-of-fact approach. It was quite impressive. Lyn also strikes me as a person who can quickly process information, assess a situation, and come to a decision she is quietly confident with. Her capable manner and decisive manner, I have to believe, helps keep Daryl and the band feeling well attended to and relaxed while she takes charge. Her duties were many and varied and she performed them without hesitation and in an extremely competent manner. During her shifts, she was responsible for the security and safety of Wisconsin’s largest convention, entertainment, and arena complex along with the responsibilities of training, managing, and leading over 135 part-time Special Services Employees. She provided first line management for three major convention and entertainment facilities encompassing six square city blocks of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her supervisory and management capabilities were responsible for the successful completion of many highly visible events including the visits by two heads of state, numerous state governors and the many foreign and domestic senior dignitaries. She provided security and safety to such distinguished visitors are President George Bush, past Vice President William Gore, Past Governor Tommy Thompson. She also provided safety and security to such international events as the Disable Veteran Wheel Chair Games and other highly visible events. Ms. Hulgan-Zimmermann was responsible for providing first responder services to over 1 million visitors and guests who attended convention, trade-show, sporting events, and family shows held in one of the three Wisconsin Center District facilities. Her leadership was directly responsible for the smooth operations of her shift. Ms. Hulgan-Zimmermann did it all with minimal supervision and in an extremely competent and successful manner. Her ability to make sound and rational decisions in the “heat of battle” is superior. She is able to grasp the details and make accurate and timely decisions that have assisted the WCD in terminating potentially damaging situations without undue hardship to WCD employees, clients, guests or damage to facilities. She completed her duties in an extremely competent manner in a very tough and demanding profession. I came to rely on Ms. Hulgan-Zimmermann’s sound judgement, leadership, and management as much as my own. She is extremely competent and dedicated—in the top 1% of all WCD Employees!
