This was the best decision that my husband and I made during our wedding process. Mike was so friendly and really got along with our guests. We received our pictures within two weeks after that wedding which was AMAZING!!! He even threw in a photo book from shutterfly for free. You can't beat his price and his quality, and he really could get away with charging much more then he does. GREAT GREAT GREAT!!

Mr. Smith Photo was perfect for my wedding! My husband and I both have big families and he was able to capture everyone. We were able to go to all the locations we wanted and had a great time in the process. Also, my husband has two young cousins who were able to take photos with Mr. Smith's camera and had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for a great time and photo album (and CD's of pictures) to remember our special day. Definitely a great photographer to have.

Never showed. He went through all the motions of checking but 10 I call him The morning of event and he waited ten mins before he was suppose to arrive and said (get this his father was sick). The same as the previous comment but just a little different. I haven't gotten a refund and he has not gotten back to me. I don't think I'm going to get it at this point. I believe he keeps tabs just to see if you will send the rest of the money. My plan was to pay him when he got there. So, so far I'm down $100 bucks! Please if you are reading this don't get tangled in this. Enjoy your event and have muiltiple friends take pics or a friend who is an inspiring photographer who has a great eye. At least you will still have your deposit and the fee he is charging

First, I am deeply sorry that I was unable to photograph your wedding. At the time I was living with my 94 yr old father, who has Alzheimer's. I was his primary care giver. On the morning of your wedding I found myself operating in crisis mode, and was unable to get relief from any other care giver. I was forced to remain with my dad to avoid any potentially life threatening incident for him. I realize this doesn't help you at all. You had no photographer on one of the biggest days of your life. I can't imagine how that must have felt. I am deeply sorry that I put you in that position.
Dad has since moved to an assisted living facility. Now that Dad is receiving 24 hour a day care from trained professionals life is better for both of us. And there will be no further crises to interfere with my obligations.

Mike smith was hired 8 months ago to do my wedding in Madison on August 2nd. I paid his deposit. I confirmed with him a week ago. But yesterday, he did not show up to photograph our wedding. We called and left messages, but he never answered or called back. This is the height of in unprofessionalism as apparently this man cannot be counted on to do the job he was hired for, or give us the basic courtesy to let us know if an emergency came up.

I am sorry about what happened on your wedding day. I had a medical emergency the morning of your ceremony. I sent a message, which you should have received on your phones. I was hospitalized for three days, and called you as soon as I was discharged. I know that is not much consolation, considering the predicament you were in and the importance of your wedding day. My medical situation has been resolved. There should be no further problems. Again, I am deeply sorry that this happened on your wedding day.
