Hi my name is Nick. I started Slash Industries in the fall of 2020 so that I could begin to more fully utilize my skills. Growing up on a dairy farm and over 15 years working in multiple trades including landscaping, hvac, welding, fabrication and millwrighting has given me the skills to handle almost any job. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50/hour for general jobs (using tools commonly on a toolbelt), two hour minimum. Plus materials. Jobs requiring specialty tools (ex: saws, ladders, etc) are billed at $70/hour. Two hour minimum. Plus materials. Welding/Fabrication shop rate at my location (Blanchard) is $85/hour Mobile welding/fabrication rate is $100/hour Will bid larger jobs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Email and phone consultation, followed by a written estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15+ years in the trades, current welding certifications (3G, 4G, SMAW unlimited).
