FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because I only work via weekends only, my pricing is very simple: $300 for up to 3 hours and $100 per each additional hour. This pricing will include a basic two-speaker and one microphone package. If this is for a large event (over 100 guests), over if there are requests for lighting, fog machine, video package, etc.; there will be additional costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would meet with you via email, chat or phone at least a week prior to the event to discuss logistics and expectations in regards to the genres of music and/or song requests. I would then generate a written agreement that needs to be endorsed. I typically arrive an hour prior to the event for larger setups, or 30 minutes prior to smaller setups. I get paid once I am at the venue, but before I perform.
