- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended University of California, Santa Barbara, where I majored in Psychology and Sociology and minored in Professional Writing, Multimedia Track. In the minor we were acquainted with the Adobe Suite and created many hands-on multimedia projects. This was the stepping stone to my current work as a freelance graphic designer!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It's helpful for customers to consider the style of art or design they're interested in for the project at hand (along with a few reference images). This way, when I send the first draft to the customer, less revisions are needed because we're both on the same page.
