FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, on floors I have a minimum of $3 a square foot for basic straight set floors. Prices can go as high as $10 a square depending on the type of tile such as granite or patterns that are chosen. But of course prices can always be negotiated!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I would meet my client at the location of the project, then we would discuss what type of tile they would like to install if they haven't already purchased any. Then I do some design consulting if needed. I would then measure the square footage of the area and go over the process of the project. Like what materials I would be using and how long the job is going to take.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing tile work for 18yrs hands on experience. Tile work is mostly mathematical figures and geometry. Doesn't take a highly educated individual to install tile but does require a very skilled worker.
