- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can offer customers a price for the job complete with materials or I can offer a price for just labor so a homeowner can purchase their own materials. I accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always meet my customers and write the estimate for the project. I work on site with my crew. Once we start a project we stay on job site until it’s finished and complete. We never jump from job to job. We clean up our worksite daily. We use drop cloths in the home and understand customers live where we are working. All crewmembers are employees of 50 East Remodeling. I collect 1/3 deposit and the balance is due upon completion. We put a guarantee on all of our work. We do not have an answering service. We have one phone number and you get someone every time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally have worked in all aspects of home improvement. I worked in sales, marketing, project management, production and installation. I currently have 2 licenses from the Maryland Home Improvement Commission.
