- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In Nov of 2002, I attending US Army Sniper School before deploying to Iraq a few months later. A few months into my deployment, I received a point and shoot camera in the mail. I quickly learned the fundamentals skills I learned during my time at Sniper School were easily transferable on my journey to becoming a Photographer. Upon exiting the military in 2004, I purchased my first DLSR. Through practice, books, YouTube videos, workshops, seminars, and job shadowing I have become a self-taught photograph.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I start in photography back into 2004 when I bought my first DSLR camera. Mainly shooting snapshots. Then after join a the local photography club I begin doing architectural, cityscapes, commercial and real estate. In the past few years, I moved to doing headshots and boudoir.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know the difference between a camera owner and a photographer. A good photographer will make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. With a great photographer you won’t even realize there is a camera. 99% of the time you get what you pay for. Most important of all. You a beautiful!
