Introduction: Nick King is an Asheville based photographer who applies his unique photojournalistic approach to creating candid, beautiful artistic wedding photography.
Although I love the thrill of capturing the perfect shot, I still believe that a great photograph is not only defined by its technical qualities, but more importantly, its ability to stir emotion. I love getting to know the couples I work with and trying to capture their personalities in a real and genuine way through photography.

How lucky we were to find Nick and have him be our photographer! We had a Chinese Tea Ceremony Wedding. Nick is a great communicator and really goes out of his way to do the best job. He met us for coffee so he can get to know me and my husband, and the wedding we had in mind. This was great to create familiarity so he was not a stranger at our wedding. During the wedding, he did an amazing job capturing both candid and posed shots with a good variety different perspectives. Somehow, he was able to get shots without being noticed or disrupting the activities. Every person I showed our pictures to have said that we had a great photographer! Nick delivers his work with utmost professionalism. You won't be disappointed!

I found Nick King on Craigslist of all places. And unlike so many other Craigslist finds, Nick was not only exactly what he advertised but he was SO MUCH MORE.
We loved having Nick take photos for our wedding and rehearsal dinner because his photos are natural and gorgeous without any pomp. We have gotten so many compliments about the photos, and really the credit goes to him!
Many of the people involved in our wedding were close friends. And even though we only met Nick through hiring him to take the photos, my brother actually thought that Nick was also one of our close friends that he'd just never met yet. Nick is just that easy to get along with and does his job so very well.
All that is to say that Nick's photos are superb and his manner is very relaxed and comforting. There is no need to hesitate to book Nick King for your wedding!

Nick photographed our rehearsal dinner and wedding this past spring. We were so happy with everything that he did! We can easily say that Nick was the least stressful part about our wedding. Not only is he an incredibly talented photographer, but he went the extra mile to make sure our photographs told our story and met our standards. We would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Nick was a great wedding photographer. He was very personable, caught a lot of natural moments and had really great ideas that turned into wonderful photos. He helped complete our special day and perfectly captured all the emotions and fun!
