- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we initially meet with the customer we go into it with the thought process of putting ourselves in the clients shoes and making sure all of their questions or concerns are answered, then we review the venue to make recommendations of what they may need for their event, every client is different, some want lights to make the statement, some want a bumping sound system, others want both and then some, it all comes down to what they want and more importantly...if its in the budget!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the A/V industry for some time now, and with my counterparts, have about fifty years of experience dealing with private clients, corporate clients and everyone in between supporting their A/V needs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
when I moved to the Atlanta area, I started out as a stagehand, after doing that, I moved into the lighting section of the business, moved up to a lighting associate for a nationwide production company, and moved further into a hotel support role at the Westin in Atlanta, providing technical setup and production support for guests of the hotel that were having events..
