- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Counseling is a 6-8 week process, at a minimum. I am present to guide you throughout the therapeutic process. Treatment is individualized to meet your unique needs, and can be planned around your short term and long term goals for personal growth and development.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology, Masters of Arts degree in Clinical and Community Counseling, Specialized Certification in Marriage and Family Certification, and I am a National Board Certified Counselor. I have worked with individuals that vary in their level of need, and specialize with populations affected by; Behavioral Issues, Relationship Issues and/or Emotional Disturbances.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my Counselor journey as a Special Education Teacher at a inpatient psychiatric facility. This experience cultivated a desire to provide intentional service and treatment to individuals, at a higher level of specialized care.
