FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in providing value first! Every speaking engagement that I am awarded there are tons of hours that go into creating content that by the end of the engagement leaves people thinking about how to move forward in their personal and professional development. My fees include any traveling that is required as well as my media Team.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, we’d arrange a phone call to discover their outcome of their event! From there, I work on creating a custom Motivational Speech or presentation that fits the needs of our their projected outcome and over deliver to exceed their expectations. Then I would draft a proposal and once we enter into contract, develop a comprehensive agenda, content, slides, to produce meaningful and quality work and stay in constant contact until the day of the engagement.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I graduated from Oakland School for the Arts (Class of 2010) where I studied Literary Arts – ranging from Creative Non Fiction to Spoken Word Poetry. It was during this time that I feel in love being able to deliver a stellar performance which led me to speaking at numerous universities including, Sacramento State and Holy Names University and leading me to the finals for the national organization, Youth Speaks! From there I was able to take my skill set of creative writing into jails and prisons throughout the Bay Area and share my story of being a child of an incarcerated parent. I lobbied from children of incarcerated parents when it came to laws that were being passed and the detriment it would have. People clearly took strong like to my geuinuine personality and ability to speak to their souls and speak with such conviction. That is what sets me apart for many! Every performance, speaking engagement, etc it given with so much passion. I have an experience that sets me apart from everyone else. The things that I have accomplished (writing a successful book, serving on the Board of Directors, building a career in Fundraising and Development, forming relationships with Multi Millionaires and CEO's) have all happen before the age of 25! I credit that to my capabilities of always growing in personal and professional development. Because of this its led me on a path to inspire the next generation of leaders to find their dreams, define what it looks like, and then understand their role to make it a reality.
