FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are a couple options for pricing. This will depend on your insurance provider and your financial situation. I do accept Medicaid, Cigna and Aetna insurances. Your co-pay will vary based on the insurance plan you have. For self-pay clients there is sliding scale available for those who qualify.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before we engage and dive into a real therapy, I like to personally talk to every client. My approach is to understand the nature of the problem the person or a family is dealing with. We would have about 20-30 min phone session to outline major issues, identify some goals for the therapy and define objectives.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive hand-on experience working with clinical mental health issues as well as family and couples’ problems. I’ve got my Master’s Degree from Argosy University at Denver in 2012 I worked at Aurora Mental Health Center for 2 years, providing Mental Health counseling to clients with mental health issues and substance abuse issues. I also have 4 years experience working with adolescents and their families at Excelsior Youth Center.
