I am changing my review after having the Nest installed for a few days.. my heat didn't work correctly causing me to spend hours on the phone with Nest to rewire/program the nest to make sure its working properly.. Also poor follow up on a other requested project... Be careful..Apr 7, 2018VerifiedRobert W.'s reply
Josh- I am sorry that the Nest didn't work for you the way you wanted. If you had called me I would have come out to you to solve the problem for you, so that you didn't have to do it. As for the special project, I am sorry that you never received my voicemails. I don't know what to say to that. I am sorry for the miscommunication there. If you would like, I would be happy to talk about that project now. Please call me anytime at 630-506-8349. Respectfully yours, Robert.
Robert responded to our request within minutes, set up a time for the very next day, arrived on time, got straight to work, clearly was well prepared, installed two Nest thermostats, even worked on wiring on the actual HVAC units, gave me an obsessively detailed worksheet with the serial numbers for the Nest associated with each HVAC system, then recommended maintenance on those units, then stuck to the honest estimate he had provided before starting the job. We couldn't be more satisfied with this professional.Mar 9, 2018Verified
Robert was great. He got our thermostat for our heated floors changed. He was extremely knowledgeable and definitely worth the price, which we thought was low and gave him extra. We also hired him for next weekend to hang pictures, one of which is over a staircase. Glad I found a "Home Medic" for our needs. Thanks Robert.Mar 11, 2018Verified
I appreciated the detail he provided for the installation of the ecobee4 smart thermostat. I also appreciated the advice he provided for further maintenance on my furnace. I regret the vacuuming of the vents. If I would have known that a regular vacuum was used, I would've done it myself and saved myself $65. Definitely not his fault. He is very good and thorough.Feb 19, 2018Verified
