- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Individual or Parenting Session: $100 Couples Session: $130 Intake Session (90 minutes): $120 Student/Sliding Scale Rate: $85
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Free 20 minute phone or in-person consultation session. We will discuss your therapy goals, questions about therapy, and whether we are a good fit for each other. 2. Schedule first intake session. The first session is typically 90 minutes long to allow ample time to discuss the therapeutic process, gain a fuller picture of your mental health and relational/family background, and your treatment goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sam attended The Seattle School where he obtained his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in 2013. Sam is currently working with The Allender Center as a trainer facilitating groups with individuals that have a history of sexual abuse and trauma . Sam received specialized training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) working with young children with emotional and behavioral disorders with an emphasis on improving the quality of the parent-child relationship and changing parent-child interaction patterns. Sam received credentials as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) working at non-profit mental health agencies in Seattle, WA (Sound Mental Health & Asian Counseling and Referral Services). He specializes in working with childhood trauma and abuse, depression and anxiety, improving parent-child relationships, and spirituality.
