He is the man. Ive been to gyms and worked with coaches, but Josh is on his own level. You're not going to find a more dedicated trainer in central texas. You never feel belittled, you never feel like you cant do something, and you walk out knowing that guy cares about your progress. He trained me and I won my first ever boxing match. Joshua Balok is by FAR the best trainer I have ever had the privilidge of working with! I have had some personal trainers in the past, but for a variety of reasons have not stuck with them...that was until I found Joshua. He has an exceptional way of keeping me motivated, and I now find myself actually looking forward exercising! He really is an incredible person first and foremost; and he continues to change my life for the better in every way. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My Standard Pricing system varies on how many sessions a client can pay for up front and or schedule block session payments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Asking you about your previous fitness history is an excellent way to see where your limitations weakness's and strengths you possess so I know which way to start to the training from and a point that we both can strive to get to.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been in the fitness industry for the past 16 years where I received my first 24/5 Certification through 24 HR Fitness where I was a personal trainer and Assistant General Manager for under 5 years. I then became a Black Belt Under Steve Doss several years later and received several awards and accommodations through Workshops Seminars and Ceremony's. I had a successful amateur boxing career winning 16 amateur fights in under three years and also was a representative of the United States Navy in the Armed Forces Boxing Championship. Most recently I won Austin's Fitness trainer of the year with Austin Fit Magazine.
