Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: At Lifeologie, we live and die by our team approach. We believe that working in isolation is not only limiting (and also no fun), but robs you, the client, of the opportunity to receive valuable insight and ideas from the rest of the team. We keep this crazed commitment to collaboration by shutting the place down for three, count ‘em, three hours every Monday afternoon, to spend time together as a staff and to discuss cases and put together treatment plans and teams for you! I provide creative mental health counseling services for Adults and adolescents on issues such as Depression, Anxiety, life stressors and big life changes, career counseling to name a few. My passion is working with individuals who identify as LGBTQIA. I specialize in Addictions issues and gender transition support.

Ryan is an experienced and compassionate counselor who can ask the tough questions and help process the answers with his clients. He will put you completely at ease and you will be in excellent hands with him. His wicked sense of humor lightens up the room.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Yes. My fee is $130 per 50 min session. I work in a collaborative teaching clinic and I am a Board Approved Supervisor for licensed master level clinical social workers. I also participate in supervising master level social worker students for their practiums. Because of the level of experience of the clinician or student, I am able to refer you to one of my supervisees using a sliding fee scale that starts at $50 per 50min session.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I had just finished my computer degree and was asked to volunteer with a homeless social service agency. I taught basic computer skills in their program to help employ clients. I enjoyed the work so much that I began exploring the field.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is important to know what you need and what you are looking for in order to find a good fit with a therapist. Now that's a tall order when hiring a professional because if you know what you need then why do you need counseling, right? What I am saying is Do your homework. Research the therapist and/or agency. Look for bios online and read several. You will begin to see different styles in the therapists and learn about how they work. You should be able to make a good decision just by doing your homework. Finally, its ok if you go to a session and decide it is not a good fit. Speak up and share with your therapist how you feel. They may be able to make some shifts to work better with you or offer you referrals to get connected to a new therapist.
