What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unlike most interior designers, I do not charge an hourly fee. Instead, I charge a flat rate, which ensures you stay within budget and are completely satisfied with the end result.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We work together to clearly define what services you need. From there, I will formulate a game plan to get you your dream space.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degree in Corporate Communication, with a minor in Business from the University of Texas at Austin and a Degree in Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute. I am also an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved the design process. It started with helping family and friends and grew organically from there. It's a passion that comes naturally to me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with both residential and commercial clients.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am nearly finished with a really fun, modern, eclectic game room for a family, which I am particularly fond of. It's taken us a few months to get there but it looks great!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Review your options and make sure your personality meshes with the person you are hiring because you'll be spending a lot of time with them!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What is the end result you are looking to achieve? Realistically, what is your budget for the project? Also, what is your timeline?
