FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am open to discussing a price that works for you and your financial situation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a phone call to make sure we are on the same page followed by a meeting to discuss the process of yoga (usually at a coffee shop). I provide forms to sign and to get clear with any physical/emotional/spiritual areas you'd like to work with. (For shorter-term clients/one-time classes, this process would take place at the one class I teach)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been teaching for 8 years, and was trained for my 200 hour certification at Mt Madonna Center in California. I was an apprentice for this same training the next year, gathering another 100 hours. I have taught all different types of yoga: ashtanga, vinyasa, hatha, kundalini, yin, restorative. I've attended many workshops and taught my own workshops about the relationship of yoga and letting go of addiction. I was a full time teacher in California for 5 years and work with all age groups: from toddlers to older adults. Currently I teach private lessons, group lessons, and I use yoga in my day job as a child therapist. I am in awe of how yoga has opened my heart and cleared my mind, and continue to develop my personal practice on a daily basis.
