Jim is creative and professional. His work is highly detailed capturing nuances whose presence has an almost subliminal influence on the viewer's experience. He is also a pleasure to work with, easy to communicate with and responsive to requests.

I commissioned Jim to illustrate for a card game I designed. Jim's illustrations did an amazing job of breathing life into the game -- it would not be the same experience without these illustrations. Besides the art I commissioned, Jim also redesigned the game's logo.
Jim's attention to detail gives his illustrations a vibrant sense of character. For example, his illustration for the Skeletons card shows them battered and broken, using makeshift weaponry. This is an illustration that tells a story: you can identify how these skeletons died. This was above and beyond my simple ask for monster illustrations, and I couldn't be more pleased with how the commission turned out.
