- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically do a flat fee that covers all work and digital photo delivery. No other fees are required and no deposit is required, only payment due the day of the scheduled photoshoot. I accept PayPal, cash and check to try to make payment as convenient as possible. My Thumbtack prices are generally a great value. The pricing through my site is at a premium rate, but due to the convenience of the Thumbtack platform I am able to quote much lower rates here.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally will have some questions about their project, just to get an idea of they are looking for in a final product. Once we get all the details out of the way and agree on a date and time I will have a Photography agreement for the client to sign that reflects the flat rate, all inclusive price. For portraits, I typically have the edited copies ready a few business days after the photoshoot.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had many corporate and professional clients shooting everything from products for catalogs to business conventions. Apart from my corporate photography, over the years I have maintained a steady flow of freelance work shooting hundreds of portraits, families, weddings and private events.
