I was trying to hang drapery rods by myself and was just making a mess of things (unneeded drill holes in wall). It was very frustrating so I contacted Thumbtack and Larry was the first one to respond (within 30 minutes). I spoke to him on the phone and he had an opening and came over immediately! He came with everything to hang the rods correctly and even did one extra tapestry rod the I had messed up for me that I had not mentioned on the phone. I will be using him again when I hang window coverings in my bedroom. His prices are fair and reasonable. He also told me he does other "handyman" jobs andI'm sure I will be calling him for whenever I just need something done around the house. Sooo worth it. Absolutely recommend Larry.

My standard hourly rate is $60. However, I will work within anyone's budget within reason. Just contact me to discuss.

Contact me to discuss your project and I will be honest with you if I can do it or want to do it, and keep your cost reasonable.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I framed houses and remodeled homes starting in 1979. I went on into a career in electronics, but continued to do remodeling work on my own home and for friends and family. I now work as a handyman for a living doing what I enjoy while helping others.
