FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of the time I add everything up and present a bid for the client. A bid is a solid figure 4000 which does not change unless the client adds more to the project. An estimate would be a range 2500-10000.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer I set up an appointment. The first 15 min we walk around the house to figure out what style of paint job they would like. We then discuss if there will be color changes. I like to educate my clients on the various paints and their strengths and weaknesses. For 20-30 minutes I write up a detailed bid based on everything that needs to be done along with additional options as requested. Then we discusses together each portion of the bid takes about 15 min. Then if all is satisfactory the customer pays 1/3 down which solidifies them in the job schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to WSU I took business classes as to learn how to run a business. I then took an internship running a painting business. I hired my employees, I did all my own advertising, managed my job sites, completed my projects. I always had the dream of having my own business. I find satisfaction that all hard work makes my customers satisfied.
