Most new clients have come to me and had other professionals, and even other CPA's or tax attorneys, prepare prior years returns and these professionals seem to have overlooked or missed some very typical expenses. I interview my tax clients and make certain that we get them every legal tax deduction allowed by the tax laws. Clients are often relieved once they realize their tax situation is not as bad as they might first anticipate. I also enjoy seeing accounting professionals develop their management and reporting skills.
