FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $50 I do my best to provide a good value for the rate that I charge. I will make bids or general project estimate for specific projects that are clearly outlined and have a specific completion with sufficient details to make an accurate estimate. I would prefer to look at someone's Pinterest board if they are still in the process of formulating an outcome. I can help you get there and can provide plenty of insights and design help.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get an idea of what they want the project to look like when completed to their satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Growing up in Alaska prepares one for self-reliance and the need to figure things out. All of my grandparents encouraged my using of tools whether it was disassembling an old pick up truck in the Mat Su Valley or doing a project at Grandpa George's who was the first Alaska Native to get an Engineering degree from UAF. He had each tool traced out on boards or labeled. I could use his tools under the strict condition that I put them back. I have apprenticed as a handyman, work trade for rent, maintenance person, painter, glazier (windows and cutting glass) & energy efficiency.
