- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $65 per hour, so if it a small graphics job (like a brochure, t-shirt, etc.) I will quote an hourly rate so you can save money. A logo package could be anywhere from $200 - $450. I bid accordingly for websites based on your needs. Websites range from $750-$3000 depending on the scope of services, pages and functionality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prepare a written proposal that includes the details of the project that are communicated by the client and also agreed upon suggestions from me from a professional standpoint. We agree upon a price and a timeline for completion. Once we both agree and sign the proposal, I request a payment. Once the payment is received, the project begins. We decide together about such details as these: 1. Who will be providing written content? 2. Who will be providing photos? 3. Do you have a logo? Do you need a new logo or a logo re-design? 4. How many pages? 5. Is it a shopping cart? How many products? 6. Who will be managing the website after the website goes live? 7. What kind of hosting do you have for website and domain? Do you need me to host the website for you? 8. How many people will have approval rights on the finished product? etc., e
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a graphic designer for about 20 years. I have been designing and building Wordpress websites for about 8 years. I am completely self-taught. I see this as a huge advantage when it comes to concept and ideas and troubleshooting. I am fearless and I can always find a solution! And if I don't know how to do something you need, I will research how to do it without charging you or hire an expert to meet the needs of the project.
