- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was always fascinating to me what a massage can do to people. it started in 1987 when I was working as A Swimming team assistant coach, in one of the sporting clubs in Cairo , Egypt , where I was watshing the Massage Therapist , doing the team members. For a reason , he left and , I started to massage the team , doing what he used to do .But I felt always that I need more knowlidge to do better . Unfortionatly, there was no institutes for massage at that time in Egypt. I t was a matter of practice and and learning from a person to an other.I did that for a while . I had a friend who was a PT, and he tought me a lot and gave me books to read and learn. I kept doing massage to family members and friends helpping them to get rid of Back pain and relaxation. When I moved to USA, my wife encoriged me to join the school of massage and to make a career . I joind Birmingham School of Massage, and I started to exploere the wonderful world of massage therapy. That is where my heart and soul began to feel that this is where I want to be in life. Helping people with thier pain and suffering.
