Introduction: I believe my work stands out because anyone, even someone not familiar with trade work, can stand back and see the beauty and craftsmanship in it. I have never believe in quantity over quality, I believe that a lot of folks have lost that mentality. That's just how i was brought up. Also I always treat others how i want to be treated. That includes customers, If I had a problem in my home I wouldn't want someone taking advantage of the fact that i knew little or nothing about the problem. So I alway take extra time to explain the problem, the solution, and why it cost X amount of dollars to fix it. That way the customer know where his or her dollar is going, and we both walk away happy. Those two mentalities, believe me will get you a long way. There are many things I love and enjoy about my work, but the biggest thing of them all actually has little to do with skilled trades. Yes I love the work that I do, and yes I love making a difference. But the one thing I enjoy above all is the interaction with customers. You meet all kinds, some of the funniest, some of the smartest, some of the most interesting, and some of the kindest people. Its a true blessing to get to meet these people, they're not just paying me for a service, and I'm not providing a service in exchange for payment; were building a relationship.And that is one of the main reasons I believe when I leave after a project they always say "you're my guy from now on". I enjoy that, meeting all kinds of folks, and knowing they're satisfied with my work.

Very bad experience! The guy Jacob made me to wait for the entire day and then no show up and no response! I wonder how someone can be so unprofessional!

The reason I did not respond was because the calls and text messages I received for this customer were from two different numbers. And in speaking on the phone I did not get a very good vibe from the customer. But keep in mind I take care of most all of my projects and jobs alone. With the way things are these days you just have got to be cautious, especially when working alone or meeting anyone new that you have only spoken to over the phone. Number one priority will always be my personal safety, not saying I can't handle my own, but it never hurts to be aware of anything that doesn't line up. Maybe it was just my own anxiety getting the best of me and I dearly apologize. Also there have been three incidents using thumbtack where I have gotten request where potential customers have turned out to try and scam me with the whole "I'm out of town and would like you to complete this work for me, all I need is your bank account info so I can wire the $1500." So I've defiantly been on the more cautious side the past month and a half or so. And this incident with the "no response" happened at the same time as I got the one trying to get my bank info. I just believe that in a customer-professional relationship trust is absolutely key. So to avoid any future issues if you call me about a project and shoot straight with me there won't be any problems of this nature at all. But in this case I had more then two or three areas of concern with this particular client. Nothing any future customer should have to worry about, I think my work shows for itself. The good reviews out weigh this one bad one. But I still do apologize for this incident and take full responsibility.
