Introduction: Hi! I'm Courtney, owner and primary service provider for Halcyon Home. I look forward to your call and to putting my background in museum collections management (crating, installation, storage of fine art), real estate staging, interior painting and home improvement projects, and home organization to work for you. Halcyon Home grew from a passion for fine art conservation, organization, and staging real estate for the luxury market. I have been doing this work -on the side- throughout a 12 year career in professional fundraising for several prominent New England art and social service organizations, and one Ivy League university. I established Halcyon Home in 2015 to fully devote my time, attention and entrepreneurial spirit to growing my business and raising the bar of client expectations in the field of home services and luxury property management. Always, my goal is to understand your budget, objectives, and timeline for completion to provide results that exceed your expectations. Whether you are downsizing, moving, or simply seeking greater organization in your home or office, I get the job done efficiently and carefully to guarantee the satisfaction of my valued clients. When you hire Halcyon Home, you can sit back and relax; I've got your back. Select Experience/Qualifications - 12 years home organization, move preparation/packing, interior painting and home improvement project assistance for individual home owners; - 3 years of university museum collections management, conservation, crating, packing, installation, storage, and event management; - 2 years home staging/contractor coordination for real estate developers making privately held, luxury/resort single family investment properties "market ready;" - clean background check and track record of trusted service in highly secured environments and world class institutions. It's important to me that you feel set up to successfully sustain your newly organized or staged home. If you are moving, there's no need to hire an additional cleaning service to deliver the home to your buyer, Halcyon's got it covered. Need interior painting done to refresh or update a room? Done and done; beautifully and on schedule for your next gathering or open house.

I downsized into a home in Chatham 3 years ago, and never really found the right spot for everything. After years of accumulation a friend recommended Courtney at Halcyon Home to help me organize, store and purge. My kitchen and office in particular needed the most help, in addition to a large accumulation of crafting supplies in the living room. Courtney worked with me to identify my most used items and the most convenient location to keep them. And then helped me pack up the things that needed to go to storage. She also handled my treasured collection of local art that I had never hung and now I can finally show them off in the way they deserve. I felt very comfortable with Courtney in my home and I've recommended her to my parents who are planning a move to a smaller house down the road from me.

I’m a single guy that considers myself pretty organized but maybe over 20 years I’ve let some things pile up. I always think “I’ll get to it,” but I never seem to find time. What started this whole process with Halcyon Home was my record collection. I recently purchased a turntable so I went into my basement and started to pull LP’s to play but they needed to be cleaned. I cleaned a few and they sounded great but got overwhelmed at the thought of cleaning my whole collection; I must have hundreds. I told a friend and they said that they worked with a woman recently that had helped organize their home and I should contact her. I called Halcyon Home and spoke with Courtney Watson, the owner. I explained my situation and she said she could clean and organize my records (however I liked; alphabetical or by genre), as well as archive them, making sure they were stored properly. She would make sure each album sleeve was in good shape or replaced, and then get the appropriate storage boxes. I was excited and relieved and we agreed on a fair hourly rate. It took a few days as each record had to be hand washed and dried. Courtney used the correct soap and special towels to dry each one, purchased new sleeves (some were missing, others were damaged by age and a basement flood I had a few years ago). She labeled each record and filed them alphabetically. I was not only impressed with the job she did with my record collection (we learned I had 297!), but I particularly appreciated the way she moved through my home with respect and the way she communicated her process and schedule. I was so happy we began to discuss other organizational projects that she could help me with. I have collected a lot of artwork in my travels, photographs before digital, books and lots of clothing. Working with Courtney has been great; she’s smart as a whip, funny, respectful of my privacy and easy to work with. I’m glad to be working with her and I have a great sense of accomplishment; even though she’s doing all the work. I highly recommend Courtney and Halcyon Home.
