FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, my pricing is custom since each project I work on is unique. I work closely with my customers to determine a fair price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with a customer, either face-to-face or over the phone to get started quickly and discuss the initial needs of the project. I'll ask you questions about what you are envisioning and talk though possible options. From there, I'll estimate a timeline and we'll together agree on terms that work best for both of us. My goal is to give you an amazing painted product that you are proud to show off in your home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 14 years of experience working at Big Leaf Manufacturing, the studio for artist Roy McMakin. I paint hardwood pieces through meticulous techniques, including: prepping (sanding, edge breaking), sealing, painting, oiling, staining, refinishing, and rub-out process (a traditional polishing method). I also utilize precise taping and masking methods to ensure pristine detail of finished pieces.
