Introduction: I'm a classically trained pilates instructor as well as a master trainer and national fitness presenter for Mad Dogg Athletics. As a personal trainer, I have the ability to combine many forms of exercise. With over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, I am confident I will be able to create an effective fitness program for you. I enjoy getting to know people, what they do for a living, what their passions are, and what their goals are. Making personal connections (pets, kids, hobbies, etc.) allows me to help my clients live their lives to the fullest. Everyone is different, and I love the challenge! Inspiration comes in all forms. Some examples are helping an older client regain his sense of balance, helping a lady who volunteers for the Humane Society as a dog groomer heal her shoulder pain with pilates, and training a shy girl through her first Danskin Triathlon and seeing her blossom into a confident woman. The list is endless!

Training with Jen is an awesome experience! I used to feel so lost and clueless when I went to the gym and worked out, I never knew what to do or how many reps to do - it was frustrating and overwhelming. But after starting to train with Jen that all changed completely! Training with her has given me more confidence not only in myself but also within the gym atmosphere by learning what kind of exercises to do based on my body and fitness goals - YES! She has also showed me that working out can be fun AND empowering! She pushes me to be my best even when I have nothing left, helps me tap into my full potential, supports me every step of the way in my fitness goals, and inspires me every day. Her enthusiasm, positive attitude, sweet spirit, and high energy are infectious! Its always a fun day when training with her in the way she mixes up what we do each time and throughout each session - whether we work with weights, pilates, resistance bands, machines, yoga balls (and so much more she is very creative!) or my favorite, dancing! What I love is that she really listens to what I want to focus on and what kind of work I need that day and she always comes up with an awesome plan that suits my needs and pushes me further than I thought I could. Our sessions are full of laughs, sweat, more reps than I thought I had in me thanks to her encouragement, and lots of FUN! She is an incredible trainer and now a dear friend and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a fantastic personal training experience.

Jen is a knowledgeable teacher. I took her mat classes for a long time and then decided to take some private reformer classes because my shoulder hurt all of the time due to my job. Now my shoulder hardly ever hurts. I think she is a good teacher because she knows so many exercises that if there is an exercise that you can not do due to an injury or something she will find a modification. I do think her training is harder than some of the other trainers around but I am happy when I am done!

Jennifer is a fabulous personal trainer. Never one to go on automatic pilot or let you get stuck in a routine, she assesses what you need and matches the right exercise to it. All with a happy smile and lots of encouragement!

Jen completely turned my life around. About a year after having my daughter, I was far from happy with my health and my body. Jen worked with me to get me to a place far superior to where I'd been even prior to having my daughter! She was supportive, creative, and incorporated such fun and diversity into each of our workouts. She worked with my schedule, even incorporating my daughter into a few workouts when childcare plans fell through. Jen is absolutely phenomenal. After a single session with her, you'll be inspired and excited to work toward the best you you can be!

Training with Jen is singularly awesome along with being a very fun person Jen is great at motivating you to work out and push your limits without going over them. She helped me get in shape before starting the semester and showed me some amazing workouts I could continue to use when back on campus. If your a student looking to drop the freshman 15 or just anybody who needs some help getting or staying in shape. I highly recommend her.
