FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's important for me to know in detail what my client has in mind for the shoot. So, I Iike to set up an appointment to get together to go over the details or at least talk on the phone. From there depending on the job we can set up place, time and date and if necessary any additional things like make-up, hair, wardrobe, location scouting, lighting, etc...
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I actually began my career in front of the lens first! I worked as a petite model and commercial actress for catalogue, print, TV commercials and Music Videos. I gleaned so much during those years in front of the camera from some of the top photographers and professionals in the industry. I remember just wanting to be the photographer and not "the talent". I always brought a camera on set and took pictures. From the start I loved working with cutting edge technology and the latest in beauty, fashion and lifestyle. So, I began by actually shooting headshots and portfolios for a lot of my new friends on set. Then working with agents and their new models and actors in need of new shots.
