- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mobile Service where I come to you is simple and straight-forward; $2 per mile - then - $2 per minute. There is a non-refundable deposit of $30 required. One-way distance measured from office to your location. $5 per printed return - Required signature pages no charge. IRS e-File confirmation and electronic copy of return included. Pick-up and delivery available. $2 per mile based on round-trip distance. If you come to me, I charge $2 per minute. Tax Resolution Excluded
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Need previous year's tax return (last 2 years ideal) Client responsible for insuring they have all required information required for the preparation of tax returns. Retrieval of your IRS records available at an extra charge. Need to gather enough information to adequately and accurately determine the prospective clients needs; be it tax preparation, back taxes (my specialty), tax problem solving, etc. Tax preparation is charged at a rate of $2 per minute. There is a non-refundable deposit of $30 for Mobile Service. Tax preparation and IRS e-File have a minimum charge of $40. Once the details of what is needed for tax resolution/tax problem solving are determined, it is easier to explain whatever process will be employed to satisfy their need, insuring they have enough complete information to understand, evaluate and make an informed decision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I possess a U.S. Treasury Department credential as an agent enrolled to practice before the IRS. As an Adjunct for State College of Florida I conduct exam preparation for the IRS Special Enrollment Examination; that education has to be focused 100% on federal taxation, which keeps me current with the law. Many years of tax preparation qualify me to prepare yours.
