Introduction: Your event is the priority, and everything I do follows that rule. Whatever you want done for the event, I will respect your wishes every step of the way. I am bilingual (Spanish), so if that language is a barrier, it won't be a problem for me. Since this isn't my sole income source, I do this because I truly love DJing. I strive to create an energetic and happy atmosphere for all guests. For weddings, I love being the "glue" that holds the event together. Weddings can be chaotic, so even though I am the one creating the party atmosphere, I also pride myself in keeping things in order, so you and your guests can simply enjoy your special event!

I have been teaching for 20 years and have helped to organize many dances over that time. Sergio and Eric were the absolute best Djs I have ever worked with. The kids loved what they played, and many of them said they were "awesome", "played what we liked", "had a good mix".... The positive comments came from many different kids. In addition, we had some weather issues we were concerned about. They were willing to work with us and be flexible in an incredibly professional way. The lights and sound effects were amazing! These two have my highest possible recommendation. They were early, paid attention to details, they were easy to communicate with, played great music, had a good time, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Sergio was the DJ at our wedding and there are no other words really other than he did an amazing job. He kept the party going and really gave our reception life. Everyone there was so impressed by what he did to keep the party going and on time. He really cared about my husband and I, and our needs for our reception. He met with us before hand to make sure everything was just the way we wanted it, and it was more than we could have asked for! So thank you Sergio, and if your in need for a DJ he is the guy for the job!

Sergio DJ'd my wedding and did a phenomenal job. Sergio and I were roommates in college, and he also had a knack for music so my wife and I were willing to give him a shot. He was very accommodating and professional. Dance floor was packed the whole night. Couldn't have been more happy. Still new to the game, but super enthusiastic to learn and improve on his already great performance.

Sergio and Eric did an outstanding job. I was a parent organizer for our prom. They arrived early to set up. They had done research on our venue at the Stanley Hotel before they arrived. Sergio and Eric were wonderful to work with, making sure their set up, and lighting worked with our theme. They listened to our decoration plan and enhanced it with there lighting. They worked well with the High School students as well as the adults. The kids raved about the music and how much fun they had. The DJ's were a huge part of that. Thank you Sergio and Eric for such a great experience and an excellent job!

DJ Surge did sound for our wedding ceremony (in the pouring rain), and music, lights, and MC'ed our reception. He did a fantastic job, and was professional and fun. We got so many compliments on him, both during and after the wedding. I'd recommend DJ Surge for any event.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing is significantly lower than most companies since my overhead costs are so minimal. Depending on extras (number of lights, fog machines etc) the prices can vary. Send me a quote request to see what I can help your event out!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will meet the customers at a local coffee shop to discuss their wants and needs for the event, and communicate every step of the way as I prepare for their big day. I meet with the customers a few times to ensure that our communication is flawless, and the outcome is everything the customer wanted!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I play 5 different musical instruments and have been in music for 12 years. I am also an engineer (graduated from Colorado School of Mines), so focusing on details and perfection is my goal.
