What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have standard pricing, however, every job is different. If we were to be on location to install a new faucet, there is a set price, but if we go to install the faucet and the valves are bad, of course then the price would change.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process is to schedule an appointment for a free estimate. The appointments are allotted a 2 hour window. Should the customer find the quote reasonable, we will begin the work right then, unless additional materials are required, in which we would then schedule a day to get the job done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are all licensed plumbing technicians.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We worked for Roto-Rooter, then parted with them to begin our own company.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of customers, residential and commercial. We have worked with insurance companies, warranty companies, landlords, the State of Connecticut Judicial System, etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hiring plumbing, heating, or drain cleaning technicians is a vital part to everyone's health and safety. We take a plumber's oath, to help the public. We would say just to make sure they care about their customers, like we do!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What exactly they would like done and when? What would be plan B if there were to be an issue with Plan A?
