About this pro
I am most excited by custom design and production. Dancewear is a favorite and a forte, as are evening and bridal. I am a trained and experienced costumer and designer, with an MFA and BA from Brandeis University, and many years experience in theatre, opera, ballet, film, and television. Ranging in application from cutting and draping, to construction, hand-finishing, hand embroidery and beading. Related crafts include millinery, hair / wig making and styling, painting and dyeing, foam sculpture, leather and metalwork. I can provide on-site tailoring and styling for fashion, print, runway, video, film and tv shoots as well as visual merchandising (former supervisor of window display for Bloomingdale's 59th Street, NYC). I also have experience in Interior painting, Interior design and Event design and planning. I enjoy the range of work opportunities my skill set can provide, functioning well in high pressure situations, and solving problems quickly, creatively, and efficiently.
