Introduction: KIYANA SHANNEL Kiyana is a personal stylist and style expert, based in the Washington, DC area. As far back as she can remember, she would spend weekends with her mother shopping at stores such as Neiman Marcus; Tj Maxx; and Bloomingdales watching her mother try on beautiful garments. It was love at first sight.
This passion never faded, as she would style family, friends and sometimes complete strangers in clothing stores. All throughout college where she obtained several degrees in the area of psychology, she always knew that she would return to fashion.
As a personal stylist Kiyana truly enjoys bringing out the best in others and making people feel good from the inside out. Kiyana has a unique skill of helping her clients change the way they feel about themselves, therefore becoming the best versions of themselves. Her background allows her to be a keen observer of the beauty that each individual possesses and solving fashion challenges. She assists her clients in understanding their body type and unique qualities. Along the way clients are taught tips, tools and styling secrets to use in their everyday life.
Kiyanas true focus is helping her clients make the connection between looking good and feeling even better.

I'm a wife, mom, educator and writer, suffice to say, I don't have a lot of time to shop or keep up with ever-changing trends. For these very reasons, I'm elated I can depend on K.Shannel to help me when I'm in a style pickle. She's well versed on what works for different body types and has a natural flair for color combinations. She shopped for some leather boots for me a couple years ago and I still get compliments to this day every time I wear them! Most recently she found me several options for fashionable backpacks which I needed to carry my ever growing inventory of odds and ends. After having two babies and a full-time job, I admit to being out of touch with my wardrobe. Kiyana and I went shopping and she helped me pick out clothes that flattered my new figure. She also helped me put together outfits with the clothes I already had. Overall I found her to be knowledgable, sensitive, and a good listener.

K. Shannel is the absolute best. It was a pleasure working with her. I hired her for a photo shoot and she surpassed my expectations. She also gave me some great pointers on how to wear the items I already have in my closet. She really went above and beyond for me. If you ever need a stylist you should definitely look her up.

I recently lost 20lbs at the age of 50. I wanted to revamp my look while i was revamping my outlook on life. I turned to kiyana and she did a fabulous job at helping me redefine my style. I am now wearing skinny jeans, tailored shirts and boots and i am loving it. I highly recommend her to help you elevate your style.
