Eugenie and Mari at HanatoNYC were AMAZING!!!! I was planning our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in NY while living in California and had just 2.5 months to plan it. This meant that I was doing everything via the internet or phone. Eugenie was extremely professional and responsive the entire time, which really helped. I was able to send emails with pictures and provide my Pinterest page to them, and they brought my ideas to life and exceeded my expectations. They even sent me a photo of a mock-up of one of the centerpieces so that I could see exactly what they were thinking. They are an incredibly talented, kind-hearted pair of florists and I am so grateful that I was able to hire them. Since I was planning from afar, the first time meeting them was a week before the wedding and during that meeting Mari and Eugenie went through every arrangement and detailed what flowers would be used and the overall design. I had a mix of high vases and low vases for centerpieces, altar decor, aisle greenery, bouquets, boutonnieres, hair flowers, and cake decorations. They were thorough and professional and were able to make a few last minute additions that I requested without a problem. I honestly could not be happier with the way things turned out. The Atrium at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden has really high ceilings and the mix of high and low centerpieces they suggested was perfect to fill the space and create the perfect setting. They did such an excellent job in this venue. Eugenie and Mari were both very punctual and worked efficiently, showing up early to set up the flowers, help with my hair flowers, and then breaking down the flowers after the event. They even helped make the altar that I built look nicer and made sure the greenery was perfect. I really couldn't have been happier, and I would highly recommend them for any event you hold in the NYC area.

Eugenie is a wonderful florist who provided my clients with a hands on workshop on how to create their very own floral bouquets. She offered a wonderful workshop at a very reasonable price and provided my clients with so much knowledge and a unique learning opportunity for my blind and visually impaired consumers. This floral workshop allowed my clients to use their sensory skills to appreciate the beauty of a flower and how to create their own bouquets utilizing their sense of touch and smell. This was a wonderful hands on workshop that was fun and interactive. It truly allowed my clients to create floral bouquets that were a reflection of their own tastes. Eugenie was patient, kind, professional in her approach to working with my seniors and caregivers. Everyone left with a huge smile and a beautiful arrangement they could enjoy at home. Most of my clients can not afford such simple luxuries like buying flowers since most of them are on fixed incomes. This class was not only educational, fun, and interactive but it gave my clients something to look forward to, something to enjoy just in time for Valentines Day. I don't think there are enough words to express my gratitude for Eugenie's thoughtfulness, patience, time, and attention. I hope that I can have the opportunity to hire her again and offer another wonderful floral making workshop. It was such a hit we had clients requesting it again for the future. Thank you Eugenie. Have booked Eugenie to create the floral arrangements for 3 separate events now-- a film screening (large scale florals), a tasting dinner with table arrangements, and a media event. She makes wonderful arrangements and is very knowledgable on types of flowers that would fit your budget while adding to the atmosphere with her designs. Highly recommended.

Yes. I live in Switzerland and I have to write this review because it was an amazing experience for me to go to this destination wedding in New York City in 2010. The flower decoration was so beautiful that I had to ask who the florist was. I didn’t get to meet Eugenie until I saw her refreshing the flower arrangements in the hotel lobby. I told her how impressive her work was. I still talk about that wedding with my friends in Zurich after all these years.

Eugenie provided all of the flowers for my wedding. I gave her complete creative control and trusted that she would come through with beautiful arrangements.
