FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, the most important thing for me to do is sit down with them (in person or online) and get a true sense of what they are looking for. Often I work with brides or invitation clients who have a strong sense of style and want invitations that will compliment their event, but my not know what they want until they see it. By showing these clients examples of other invitations and stationery, art and design we can determine the colors, designs and fonts that suit their unique aesthetic, and then create something special just for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I majored in fashion design and fine art, during this time I gained skills in fashion illustration, technical drawing and digital illustration. I have created posters, book illustrations, and pattern designs for clothing and accessories.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been a lifelong artist and have always dreamed of starting my own business doing what I love. After finishing college and working for a few years in an unrelated field, I decided it was time to pursue a career creating art in any way I could. I started doing stationery design for friends weddings, opening an online store, and have since begun expanding my business to include graphic art, illustration and logo design.
