I don’t like to do reviews, but the sod installer certainly deserves one. Reynaldo worked very hard, put up with me micromanaging and answered all questions from neighbors passing by. Those questions turned to praise as he was finishing up. I would recommend and hire them again.

Ludwing and his crew installed lawn in our backyard. Before the work, he talked me through different options on what we could do with the space. They worked quickly, and efficiently. He went the extra mile and even brought us a garden hose!

I hired L&Y Construction after reading the reviews on Thumbtack to install sod in the mini backyard of my Manhattan row house. Ludwing, the owner, and his employee did a wonderful job. They were professional, punctual, reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with. Two days before the commencement of the work, I had a change of plans (decided to cement and tile a section). The next morning, Ludwing was at my house, he assisted with design ideas and that evening he sent me a reasonable price and the following morning they showed up to do the revised project. He offered advice on how to care for my mini-lawn and one week later the grass still looks beautiful. My neighbors have all commented on the well done job. I highly recommend this company and look forward to hiring them in the future when the need arises. By the way, 3 days later Ludwing called to make sure all was fine and all I could do was thank him for the excellent job.
