Introduction: I believe in safe, authentic, and dynamic instruction in all forms of learning. Man or woman, young or old, whether just beginning, fallen off the wagon, or wanting to learn to new techniques and capabilities, I'm confident I can help guide you to your goals.
Ryan Rubinstein is a PCC instructor who began training and teaching calisthenics in
2007 while serving in the US Army as a combat medic (68W2P). He began using the
fundamentals in the popular "Convict Conditioning" series to build strength and
endurance through pure body-weight exercises since 2012. He received his certification
in Goteborg, Sweden, in 2013.
His commitment to physical training is only shadowed by his love for martial arts. He is an instructor in the Pekiti Tirsia Kali System, authorized to teach by both
Grand Tuhon Leo T. Gaje and Tuhon Rommel Tortal. He is also a capoeirista with Group
Capoeira Males. When not playing with his dogs, Ryan can be found practicing yoga,
swimming, bouldering, and rucking.
Only an empty cup can be filled. The best part of training yourself is mental development, that and what Socrates said.
