- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
SEO pricing can be really variable. It depends on the size of your web site, how tough your keywords are to rank for, how much content you need, and where you are starting from as far as visibility in search results goes. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our job is to completely get to know every detail of our client's company, so that we can market it and promote it like it's our own. A big part of SEO and digital marketing is quality content and copywriting, and it is important to us that we have a very close relationship with our clients, so that we can write informative content that promotes our clients' strengths. We typically meet with an interested client to answer any questions that they may have. We get to know the client and their marketing goals, so that we can develop a complete SEO and digital marketing strategy to accomplish thosw goals. A big part of our homework is keyword research, competition analysis, and demographic research. We formulate our marketing strategy, meet again with our client to discuss it, and then hopefully, we're in business, and you'll be at the top of the rankings very soon.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
SEO takes a unique and diverse skill set. It is a combination of experience and skills in IT, coding, copywriting, logic, web design, and marketing knowledge. I have a very rare, complete package of these skills. I have been surfing the internet and playing with computers since I could walk. I had my first web site when I was 11 or 12. My first job as a teenager was writing for the Buffalo News. A few years later I began my nearly decade-long IT career, while also going to undergrad and graduate school for Philosophy & Logic. I have spent the last 4 years doing SEO, web design, and copywriting. I don't know of many other people who coincidentally have such a perfect compatibility of knowledge and experience with SEO and digital marketing.
