I previously wrote a scathing review about our attorney Jeff Biddle which in hindsight was unfair; so I want to be sure we set the record straight and provide an excellent review which we believe he has earned. We are not discharged yet, but are confident we are well on our way and hope to breathe a sigh of great relief and enable us to start fresh with a new outlook for the future which seemed to be getting more and more hopeless everyday. Everything did not go as smoothly as hoped, but these things are always messy and Jeff has done a great job at helping us through a very difficult time/circumstance in our lives. In a word, Jeff Biddle is a professional. I couldn’t have made a better choice in a bankruptcy attorney. Bankruptcy is stressful enough. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don’t know if I’m the cheapest but I’d worry about hidden charges from lawyers that are cheaper than me. I honestly don’t know how a lawyer can charge $50 for a bankruptcy when the filing fee is over $300!!!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet and, if you like me, pay me and we’re off to the races. If you need your case filed today, usually that’s not a problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to law school at Emory University, a top-tier law school located in Atlanta, GA. After graduating, I started working at a local law firm as a divorce/family law attorney and had a very high caseload. While it gave me great experience, it was hard to give focused attention to any one client. That is why I started my own practice. I get to know my clients and I’m available when they need me and I can devote the attention they need to get the best results for them.
