FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I speak with a client over the phone I listen very carefully to what their vision for the event is. I explain what I can do personally and if other vendors are needed we discuss that. A quote is given, once they decide that I am able to provide them with a service; an in person meeting is planned. At this meeting I will present a contract. All questions are answered and the contract is signed.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In my early twenties I started helping friends and family members plan and decorate different types of events. Graduation parties, baby showers and bridal showers. This never felt like work for me. I was always a willing helper. Soon, I was the person that everyone called to plan the event. Slowly I realized that this was a passion of mine. Starting with a blank canvas and ending with a beautifully decorated room fills my heart with pride.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with younger clients who want to be hands on with the planning of their birthday parties. Husbands have hired me to plan anniversary parties. I have worked with mothers who are planning milestone birthday parties for adult children or the opposite, a child planning a 60th birthday party for a parent. My clients are very diverse. I am able to work with anyone.
