We hired Chef Matt to come to our home to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday, we were a group of 7 and it was a surprise for the birthday girl. Matt and his assistant Melanie arrived on time and dressed in chef coats with all of their supplies. The timeline he presented to me in advance was met spot on. We enjoyed incredible appetizers as we waited for the guest of honor to arrive then we all sat down to a 5-course meal. Both Melanie and Matt served and cleared the plates. Matt presented each dish and its ingredients. The food was so delicious and unique, plate presentation was beautiful. Melanie offered wine service throughout the meal and the final dessert dish was outstanding. Our entire meal was also gluten free! By the time we finished dessert the kitchen was cleaned up with leftovers in the fridge. This was a first time experience for all of us to hire a private chef and we will all do it again and look forward to hiring Matt & Melanie again in the future.
