Introduction: Jason F. Taylor's practice focuses primarily on family law, criminal defense and civil litigation. Mr. Taylor works hard for his clients, always seeking justice and the optimum results for each client.
Mr. Taylor is a native of Charleston, South Carolina; attended public schools in Mt. Pleasant; graduated with distinction from the College of Charleston; he received his law degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law; and Mr. Taylor also earned his Master of Arts in Latin American Studies, from the University of Florida, Graduate School.
Prior to returning to Charleston, Mr. Taylor was an Associate at a South Florida plaintiff's firm, where his legal practice concentrated in the areas of complex and catastrophic civil litigation including personal injury and wrongful death, product liability, negligence, inadequate premises security/violent crime, motor vehicle, insurance coverage and bad faith, and equine liability.
Today, when not involved in his extensive family law and criminal defense litigation practice, Mr. Taylor likely will be found studying and writing on legal issues or lecturing at the College of Charleston where he is an adjunct professor teaching courses in crime, law and governance.
