FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For accounting, yes. I charger per hour the same amount regardless of the size of the company. For payroll, it depends on the numbers of employees, how often payroll is run and whether additional services are required apart from standard payroll.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
People work off of first impressions, whether this is in person or over the phone. Generally, my first contact with a new perspective client is over the phone. I like to gauge from that conversation what exactly it is that they want to achieve with my services and whether I believe I am the best fit for them. If I fit their needs, I let them decide what it is they want to gain from us working together and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Accounting with emphasis in Taxation. I stay current every year with the IRS with the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP), which requires 18 continuing education credits. I also have an annual membership to a program that has unlimited continuing education credits to ensure that any questions that do arise, I have the ability to learn the proper course of action.
