FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes and no. I charge a standard rate for cooking lessons and group demos. My catering , meal prep and planning services are personalized so the pricing depends on the type of food, length of time spent on the project, travel, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically have each customer fill out a questionnaire and we talk in detail about their needs, budget, habits, and food preferences. Then I come up with a proposal of my service and allow them to tweak things and add input and once they are satisfied we move forward. Depending on the type of service I may send them sample meal planning, menus and even do a tasting and demo in their homes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to culinary school and I have worked at a restaurant as a line cook where I got to do everything from the regular dinner and lunch shift to private parties. I've been catering and cooking for clients since 2006.
