Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I've been creating videos professionally for about 6 years, including music videos, short films, commercials, and animations. I've done a lot of work with local hip-hop artists - Chance the Rapper, Donnie Trumpet, Towkio, Saba, Noname, Jamila Woods, to name a few. Apart from Chicago I've also worked with Daye Jack, SHIRA, and Paper Route. My photography has also been featured on online music news sites, social media branding campaigns, and headshots for working actors and musicians. I approach everything with the same artistic sensibility that I do my music videos and narrative films, and can provide that to whatever project I'm given. I enjoy figuring out new and unexplored ways of producing something, finding a way to shoot or edit or write content in a way that hasn't been done before. Executing that successfully is the best feeling.

Peter Collins Campbell is one of Chicago's brightest when it comes to shooting videos. Will always work with your budget and always meets deadlines. My go to when I need videography/photography.

Peter was able to capture exactly the kind of pictures I needed for my social media brand. The shoot went smoothly and was an overall fun and positive experience. Peter was very professional and made me feel very comfortable the whole time.

Peter's ability to balance an unusually high bar of creative direction & technical ability without compromising one for the other is what made hiring him for my album so worth it. Navigating the sea of delusional people in fine art can feel disheartening. Anyone can offer you an impossible idea, but few are relentless enough to ensure it's executed as promised every time, as Peter did for me.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been shooting videos since I was 9 years old, and never stopped. Photography was a natural progression of using a DSLR camera for video shoots from an early age (around 16), and I've been doing both professionally since I was 17.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Lots of people in the music industry, actors, as well as companies and individuals just in need of video content and portrait photography.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently shot video and did a photoshoot for the music news site These Days - total shoot time was about 4 hours and editing of the video/photos was done several days afterward.
