FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My clients always know up-front what they are paying before any services are started. My prices are standard. A standard tax return is $150. Additional fees may apply depending on the complexity of the tax return.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for new customers/clients is very straight forward. We initially set up a call or an in-person meeting to gain a better understanding of the nature of the services. We then schedule a time for the services to be completed if it is mutually agreed upon to proceed. I then set up a client portal for the client, which is the primary way for us to securely exchange documents. Once all documents have been sent, the services are completed immediately. A follow-up meeting may be scheduled as I love to keep my clients in the loop regarding ways to maximize their financial security. My clients would say that I have a very hands-on approach and I'm very flexible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy and a Master of Accounting Science Degree. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Illinois. I have been preparing tax returns for several years now and I used to work at a "Big Four" public accounting firm. Furthermore, I teach personal finance through seminars/workshops.
